The Melo, The Conch, the Kasumi and the hollow Keshis

Hello Everyone,

I am particularly very found of these :
- The conch is matched with 8 red beryls from Utah : a rare pearl with rare stones; flame is not visible on picture but there is, and oval shaped
- The Melo is set into a changeable ring, no fixing, interesting irregular color and pattern
- 5 Kasumi speak with 2 Sea of Cortez in a bracelet, all in the baroque family
- My big keshis I discovered they were hollow when drilling to fix the key for clasp in ; matched with 2 silvery indonesian small ones
- Missing a scallop pearl but still looking for. If someone can help :)

thanks for your comments
It's always a pleasure to learn more and more on that forum

All the best !

Hi Ciclasp,

That conch pearl with the bixbite is a dream piece of mine, particularly set in platinum and on a matching pink silk cord. Where did you get the bixbite? I saw some at Thaigem a few months ago and by the time I made up my mind it was gone. Natural blue coral with benitoite are also a great pendant combination.

Helo Zeide,

I get the red beryls on ebay .
You can apply to Matt, he gets 100 % positive feedbacks which is rare when reaching 506 feedbacks left. Prices are affordable, quality exactly as described, not over stated, and he takes great care of his customers . http://myworld.ebay.com/redbarrels redbarrels(506)

Here are some more circled Tahiti pearls. I am particurlarly found of circled natural pearls, which can be ringed with gold.

Best regards from Paris

A set of red beryls! That must have been a lucky find indeed...

Just wanted to mention something of the same 'favor' - a line up of small, color graduated benitoite that turned up in the new year stock: LINK (last on the page). There is a page dedicated to red beryl nearby; Steve Perry's is a good source for the usual, IMO.

I like the ringed-pearl look. That would have been an interesting idea for this thread about a men's bracelet.

Hi Cliclasp,

I might be very wrong but I think the strand on the right hand does look like nucleated "fireballs", the one the left side could be South Sea Keshis.Lusterwise none of the strands has outstanding luster, at least not to be seen in this picture - naturally it should be the South Seas Keishis with the best luster and the Fireballs would stand for the orient. The Fireballs are tissue and bead nucleated, the Keishis should be 100% nacre, if there is a hollow pearl it could be one filled with gas perhaps or is the "clasp" in the middle?

Curious once you tell us....

Game 2 : I shall reply to all comments after all games set ...

Were blacks ones are from : easy :)
Less easy : Which are the white ones : South seas or china keshis ?
