Tahitian keshi pearls

I'm new here and need your advice.
I'm looking for a Tahitian Keshi pearl strand. Could you please confirm if I’m correct in thinking that Tahitian Keshi pearls are commonly untreated?
At first, I fell in love with a Keshi necklace priced at approximately $850 (22g).

more affordable keshi strands-

I’m hesitating because I wonder whether the Keshi strand might be less lustrous and not as visually appealing as the more expensive Keshi necklace. Could you please share your opinion? Is the Keshi strand a good alternative to the necklace, or would it be better to save up for the more expensive option?
I understand that Keshi pearl prices depend on luster, but I’m concerned that a strand may look significantly less appealing than a necklace. On the other hand, it seems to me that all these Keshi beads might have similar luster, and the price difference could be due to slight variations in size and weight.
What do you think? Are the Keshi beads in necklaces and strands generally similar in luster?

Could you please tell me if you mean Keshi strands or beads in the necklace? If these are not keshi what kind of pearls are they?

I'm wondering if the Keshi pearls on the threads are significantly less appealing than the Keshis in the necklace.
These keshis are from different sellers,keshis on the threads are less expensive.

I think the keshi necklace is more expensive because the pearls are larger and the item is finished. If you buy the smaller strands, you will need to have them strung and add a clasp -- if I understand what you're asking.
They mostly look like keshi Tahitian to me, but I wonder if there are a few freshwaters scattered in for length.
Buy what you love and will wear.

Hard to say. The seller of the necklace edits pictures a lot, I never dared to buy from her, but her shop does have good feedback score. The seller of the strands, I bought from multiple times, and her pics always reflect the true appearance of the pearls.

The necklace definitely got some bigger pearls, and are generally smoother. It also has some gold beads, though can’t add very much value due to the size and quantity. As to “significantly less appealing”, I guess it’s really hard to say unless you put them side by side, let alone “significant” or not is quite subjective.

To my knowledge they are not usually.

Regarding treatment, I don't know if Tahitian keshi are measured by French Polynesia the way bead-nucleated Tahitians are controlled. We need one of our experts to weigh in on that.
My opinion -- since you are already in the $850 budget range, you may want to consider a Tahitian baroque strand, or a perfect trio of earrings and pendant. Unless you find yourself hopelessly in love with keshi?
