OK, so it doesn't have the panache of scuba-pearls, and neoprene has its own sense of style somewhat lacking from Eddie Bauer. But how about green SSs with a green sweatshirt anyway? Scarlett says they're just fine. Bodhi, the arabian gelding, thought they looked yummy. DANG! That delayed click of digital cameras with fading batteries missed the shot of Bodhi lipping them, hoping they might be licorice Altoids. (Favorite treat.)

I have seen a horse wearing pearls or pearl-decorated gear. I'd love to see some. Maybe a horse coronet.

Some of the arabian show halters are a sight to behold: I can easily imagine one drenched in pearls. All my pearl intuition tells me there has been at least one princely someone whose halter had real gems and pearls. I would love to see one!
