SoC Mabe Pearl Ring

My lovely SoC mabe ring showed up today, and I must say, it's a keeper! The luster is not as sharp as I had hoped, but it glows nicely, and oh my, the color play is amazing!!! I'm almost embarrassed to post pics, because the pics only show about 25% of the color this ring has, I just can't seem to capture it with the camera, in the pics it just looks sort of grey and washed out. IRL there is mauve, plum, pink, teal, green, blue, silver, all the beautiful colors almost at once! In some lights it has such a strong mauve/pink tone, and in others more teal/blue, it is constantly changing. The colors are a little softer and more pastel than I was expecting, which I actually love. I'm so glad I took the plunge! I'll post pics for posterity anyway, but in no way do they do this little beauty any sort of justice

It suits your hand nicely, and yes-- photographing pearls so that they look the way they look to your eye is maddeningly difficult!
