...which might be one of the coolest things to ever happen to me.

Based on google pics, it looks like a quaghog, but I can barely tell a pearl from a pebble.

Worth anything?

Congratulations on a lucky fnd.

The seafood was cooked? Unfortunately, heat and steam damages the structure of most pearls.

Your's has color typical of quahogs, roundness on one axis and semi round on another.

That would make it easily fashionable into a piece, but more as a keepsake than investment.

Finding a natural pearl is a rare and memorable event, irrespective of gem quality.
