Rare Penn Pearl Pecklace

This rare Penn pearl necklace is all over Pinterest, so I thought I would post it over here with proper credit: It is from one of our members, Care Ehret of Druzy Designs, on eBay and one of the best and most honest pearl dealers anywhere, let alone eBay

They look pretty good for pearls made mostly of protein. I don't see any obvious cracks. And I love Care's jewelry.

It is unusual to see an entire necklace this length. I don't love penn pearls, but they make themselves known from time to time. This is very rare, I believe.

If Carolyn knows her pearls -and she KNOWS her pearls- she would have made a very good selection to produce a beautiful & rare necklace. I would not worry too much about the cracks since most of the pearls look very nacreous.
