What a fun article, thanks for posting, Newberry! The "rain-sodden horse meets" got me LOL ... I got teased last weekend for wearing pearls to a drenchingly wet camping weekend amusement park birthday party for my grandson. You know the kind of day ... when the inside of your shoes are so wet they squeak??? My PP white baroque akoya 2 nested strands, matching bracelet and earrings took it all without flinching

Nice reading. I think I have read somewhere else all her pearls are natural. I certainly don't expect her to have to worry about nacre thinness!

The jewelry at the Tower of London is jaw dropping -- it was my mother's highlight in her visit to London when I was living there. Beware, they have a moving belt so people don't stop there drool at the jewels... it gets very busy.
