I Got A Queen Conch In My Saltwater Fish TanK As A, Pet At What Size Can I Nucleate Her *lol*

I ReallY Do Have One As A Pet But I Wouldnt Nucleate It Lol
But I Thought That Was Funny.

How big is it?

A friend of mine is doing research in Florida (US) on the seeding of Conch Pearls (Strombus gigas)...mainly for the production of "Mabe" (I don't think they should be given the same name tough). His name is Hector Acosta-Salmon.

Anyway, I don't think an Aquarium is a good idea...but give it a shot!

I would use a small, flat implant: size no larger than 5 mm diameter and 3 mm height...maybe oval or teardrop shaped to improve retention.

oh my i wouldnt put my conch throuth that he to small ~ hes like 2-3 in . but the little guys a pet in my aquarium.
