for the first time in a while i see some quahog pearls passing ebay this week ( that aren't going for ridicules prices )

last week there was also one in auction from france ebay its always weird how a item is almost never on there and then three pass in a week

Yes. I have had the one with the spot on my watch list and now it is half price- so I will be happy to see what it bids up to. I am not bidding, I just like tracking what the market value of these unusual pearls is. That quahog pearl for $4,999.00 is over priced. I track quite a few things on Ebay.

Hey I splurged on that set of 2, it was a great price compared to some of the ridiculous prices I've seen on some websites.
They were really nice in person and I drew up a necklace design around them.

I'd like to execute the piece, maybe in the next couple of years. Just graduated and got a temp job, so that's a good start! Because it's georgian/edwardian influenced I want to use old mine cut diamonds, so that'll probably take a while to gather up, and I need to find a jeweler who can do antique style settings. Should be a fun long term project
