So sorry, Cterrance1. They have the telltale freshwater colors (lavender, peach, pink, yellow-tinged white) and some eggy shapes. As for the black ones, Tahitian pearls are usually much larger than that (plus those have the freshwater eggy shape because unlike South Sea and Tahitian pearls, smaller freshwater pearls usually don't have a shell bead inside that makes them form in a more round shape). Freshwaters don't come in black but they're often dyed black.
Unfortunately, it's common for freshwaters to be passed off as South Sea and Tahitian pearls in many parts of the world, especially in tourist areas. (Also on ebay). The authorities in those places don't seem to do much about it. I'm sure I'm far from alone wishing they'd toss the all the pearl scammers in jail where they belong.
However, you still may not have gotten that bad of a deal, depending on what you paid for them. As far as selling them, maybe ebay or Etsy would be the easiest. For pricing, you might check out the listings there to get an idea of what you could reasonably charge, by comparing size and quality. Those look middle-ish to me, as far as quality. They don't appear wildly lustrous, they're a bit off-round, and have some surface imperfections. However, they also aren't the low end junk. They'll make some pretty nice jewelry. I'd wear them.
Best wishes to you. I hope you can get your money back.
