Pearls from Sea of Cortez

Hi, I have friends that are fishermen, sometimes I trade pearls with them, I dont know much about pearls, so here's one I got today. Is about 3 millimeters, and is natural.

At that size, it is more of a keepsake as a singleton. How is the shape? I mean, how close to truly round? How about the color? Is it blue?

is not totally round is more like an oval shape, but lets say 70% round, but is does not have a flat side, and about the color is very dark but is closer to purple than blue.

It is a nice find. The reason I was asking about the blue is because I know someone who is collecting true blue naturals ... so if you come across another

Ah got it, you know what a friend has a blue one, is small like this one, but is a dark blue, you want to see it? I can borrow it so you can take a look.
