That is better!

I see shapes and rings that are typical of Chinese freshwater pearls. They have nice luster.

Did you buy them? You could make a pretty necklace from them.

thank for your opinion on the strand of pearl posted by me today. I did not buy this strand of pearls. I had posted a close up photo yesterday of a different strand of pearls measuring 1/4 mm to 1 mm diameter. Could you please let me have your opinion on that.

I think your measurements are wrong for the 1/4mm - 0.24mm. It is unlikely to be possible to drill a hole in a pearl 1mm let alone 0.25mm.
What do you think these pearls are? And why?

Can you photograph these laying next to a ruler with millimeters (mm) and centimeters? Inches would do if you don't have the mm ruler.

It does not seem likely that the pearls are 1/4 of a mm as that approaches the width of a human hair, and one mm is about the width of a felt tip pen's line on paper.

Also, if you have a macro mode on your camera, please use that, as it will get the pearls in better focus for closeups.

Where did you get these pearls?
How old are they?
That will help us with guessing what they may be.
