One question, with the pearl companies today using different grading system why there is not a national or international grading system that we can all used?
I was looking at several companies grading systems and they were all different. Some did have a few things in their grading system that were close to being the same.
I contacted the GIA and their reply was ?we do not use a progressively lettered or numbered grading system in the laboratory?.
There were companies that graded some of their peals as AAAA. Is this accepted by anyone standers?
