OPINIONS of PEARL NECKLACE?

I'm looking for peoples opinions on what kind of antique pearl necklace I have. It has a gold framed cameo which I think is around a mother of pearl cameo but I'd like opinion on that also. It's hand knotted, heavy in weight, has a gray to greenish hue and reflects a shiny deep white in the pearls as you change angles when viewing it. What do you think?

Beautiful! They look like dyed mother of pearl beads. Because they are cut out of the shell na re, they look a lot like pearls.
