The clasp is sterling and there is a plain capital M mark on the hook. It reads sterling along the side of the body of the clasp. All pearls are knotted in between each other. That's about all I know. It's roughly 16". Thank you all!

The letter M is probably just a mark of the maker of the clasp, which is a very generic fishhook clasp. It does not indicate the brand of pearls.

I am wondering if the pearls are imitation. Do this: gently rub one pearl against another. Glides smoothly? Imitation. Feels gritty? Probably real nacre.
