Pacific Coast Pearls: Abalone pearl ring

Oh my! That pearl is a stunner and I love the millgrain work on the setting. I would love to see it in person!

Stunning pearl, however, the setting is not for me unless it is in white gold.

DK :)

Oh, that's rich looking, I'll bookmark this page for sure.
thanks GG!

Wow! What a wonderful pearl. Wonder if there's any chance it's cultured (if so, great times ahead!) When I click on the link, the colored diamonds in the second photo down look especially wonderful with it. I'm wondering if it has different colored diamonds on each side or if they just look more blue-green in the other photo because of the lighting. Also, I wonder why they made the cup that large rather than having it fit the pearl snugly.

I am very happy that you are enjoying it. Yes, the lighting is very different in the studio shot, probably fluorescent. Absolutely a natural pearl. The value is very high due to size and roundness, but it's also a once-in-a-lifetime pearl. You just don't see all the factors come together to make this kind of pearl. If you do, take a photo to share! :)

LOVE everything about this regal ring ... the pearl, the COLORS!, the open setting ... WOW!

I love it too, it suggests a medieval chalice containing a globe of magic. The Holy Grail containing the Earth?
