Need some help

Hi Everyone,
I have a pearl necklace that I want to get rid of because I dont wear jewelry too often and I hate just seeing it sitting in its box. I know nothing about it except for what I can see on it. Its a single strand with 66 pearls on it and the clasp is 14kg. If someone could tell me alittle more about it and or what its worth that would be great! Thanks for your help! (My godmother got it in Japan 4 years ago, if that helps with anything)

It looks like an akoya necklace, probably in the 6.5-7 mm range.

If the pearls are truly round and look similar to the pictures, you have a strand of akoya pearls from Japan.

The value is completely determined by the quality. Unfortunately, it is impossibly to tell the quality from your photo. If you have a macro setting on your camera you may be able to take a clear shot of just a few pearls ...
