i live inwestchester, do i haveto travel to nyc, mikimot's to see a natural pearl??...do any westchester jewelers carry natural pearls??

The OP is referring to Westchester County, north of NYC. It's an upscale area.

Still, I think it might be hard to find natural pearls there. Mikimoto sells cultured pearls, and I'm not aware that they sell naturals (non-cultured.)

Edit: Conch pearls are hard to find -- and expensive when you do find them-- but upscale jewelers may sometimes have them, and they are naturals (though not nacreous.)

as far as I know Mikimoto doesn't sell natural pearls, its possible they've done a couple of one off pieces though. You really need to find someone that specializes in natural pearls, its a very specific niche.

Hi
Welcome
What do you mean by natural. I'm betting you mean real pearls, not fake ones. We call those cultured or farmed. Natural pearls are wild pearls and very rare (it would be easier, yes, if they were called wild. Then everyone would understand)
You can see lots of cultured pearls, Mikimoto and many other sellers, online. On line sellers usually allow you to order, receive and then return if you don't like
For what are you looking?
