I found this pearl in an oyster I was shucking recently. This oyster was harvested in Pass Christian, MS. I don't know much about pearls and this one seems pretty nice and was interested in hearing some feedback from some all the novice and expert pearl enthusiast out there. The pearl is in comparison with a dime. The pearl is not round it is more diamond shaped than round. Here are some photos thanks

William,

Welcome, a very nice pearl, and larger than many found in oysters. It is difficult to say what value it might have, but not a lot, except as a unique item with a good story! Most of us here would love to find a pearl in an oyster. Seems like it is large enough to be a pendant for someone special. Could be your "lucky pearl."
