N.C. oyster "pearls"

Thought I would share - my wife and I have enjoyed fresh oysters every New Year's Eve for the past 26 years. And in four decades, I've shucked my share of oysters here in Southeastern North Carolina (USA).

Last night, I stumbled into these little beauties in back-to-back oysters ... my first-ever little gems.
