You've got some gorgeous pearls! And great score with the pendant. My friend has a similar one from the 60's or sometime around there. Her husband was in the service and gifted her. Blue akoyas are a wonderful color on everyone!

Those blue akoyas are gorgeous! I've had my eye on a similar strand at Pearl Paradise, have to save up! The colour is so elegant.

thanks litgeek! they are quite round, i was surprised because i was expecting a more lumpy and bumpy baroque shape. but i really can't complain because the colors on them are out of this world, i am in love!
the tahitians are also from PP, i'll try to do another post on them. theres a strech bracelet in that picture with a golden south sea pearl and a necklace pearls are addictive....

They are really lovely, the blue-grey akoyas. I've never been that interested in akoyas, but the blue-greys are definitely changing my mind. I imagine they probably suit almost everyone, too, unlike (say) gold South Sea pearls, which look fab on some people but not right on others.

Hi! I'm a newbie too and thanks for posting pictures of your blue Akoyas! They do look round on you and the color is beautiful. I have a similar strand from PP but don't have earrings - yet!
