Hi all,
I am new to the forum *wave wave*. I chanced upon pearl guide some time ago and learned a lot from fellow forumers. My love for pearls started ten years ago when I had opportunity to travel for work frequently in Australia. As financially stretched, I didn't purchased any pearls back then. It is only till recent years that I began to have my own pearls.
I saw this pair of earrings at jewelry festival in Singapore three years and just had to have it. This piece is called The Parisian Dolmabache designed by a local jeweler Simone Ng(www.simonejewels.com) . It features 2 11mm white south sea pearls with diamonds and blue sapphire. This earring is one of my favorite jewelry pieces and I wear them a lot to fancy events.
This set is my staple - Akoya pearls necklace with white south sea pearl studs matching the color and luster. All pearls are with pink overtone. The akoya pears are of 8.5mm-9mm size and south sea pearl studs are of 10-11mm size. I bought this set from a lovely independent jeweler in Singapore.
