Mother-of-pearl

If a mollusk produces only pearls that are calcareous concretions can they have mother-of-pearl on the inside of their shell, or is mother-of-pearl only found in mollusks that can produce a nacreous pearl?

Number 2 has it. Only nacreous shells can produce mother of pearl.
