Mikimoto?

Could anybody give any feedback on these Pearls? I found them in a Charity Shop 11 years ago.

They look like the type of "rice krispie" freshwater pearls from China pearls that were so common in the 1970s and 1980s.

I would assume the M stamped on the clasp is simply a mark of the manufacturer of the clasp.
