making my own tin cup - 1st project

I would like to get creative and also make some affordable fun pieces. I have never ever made my own jewellery but have been inspired by what I have seen here over the years. I would really appreciate a steer in the right direction - links, website, videos etc on how to make my own tin cup for a complete novice.

Instead of looking up tutorials for tin-cups, you may want to look up "wire-wrapping" tutorials instead. Wire-wrapping is the technic where you use wires to create the loops on the 2 sides of pearls drill holes, and you can connect those loops onto various chains, or onto each other, forming your tin-cup.
