I have zero knowledge about pearls. These were found in a foreclosed property along with many other pieces of vintage jewelry. I did some of the simple tests that everyone suggests. I did feel the grain when rubbing two together, and also on my teeth. I scraped one with a scissor blade and it did produce a powder, yet remained glossy. There are no double knots between each pearl. Any help would be appreciated. I hope my pictures are defined enough.

Thanks in advance!

Those appear to be mother-of-pearl beads and not pearls. Those would be the beads that are inserted into mollusks to create cultured, beaded pearls.

I have some of those from the beach shell shops. They only go for a couple/few dollars a strand. I like them anyway, though. They gleam and they're made of natural material, a nice beachy souvenir for casual wear. :)
