Hi all,
Whilst in Dubai yesterday I saw some "jie-normous" south sea pearls both as earrings and rings. The mm size wasn't mentioned on the label but I can't envision someone actually wearing them as earrings (+15mm). Fresh water pearls were very reasonably priced - Mikimotos were not bad but expensive as usual. Saw a pair of "almost" pistachio earrings but too big for my taste.
I'll be back in Dubai next week and will look around for other pearl goodies. I want to visit the Pearl Museum as well as a diamond cutting centre as well.
