My Goodness. I think the Pearl of Allah weighs 6.1 kg, so if your pearl is authenticated, it will be the biggest tridacna gigas pearls found yet, knocking the old PoA out of the Guinness book of records. Yours is so smooth, too, it looks like a stone. The PoA is super ugly, but it is distinctive. It is hard to tell your object is a pearl!

What is the story about how it was found? Where is the shell? People need to know. Did you take any photos when it was found? The translucent photo is cool.

The more they are worked, the less valuable they are. The smaller ones look like polished shell because you can see horizontal lines. How much of the surface of the big one has been polished? It's understood that they have to be cut off the shell, but the more area that was attached, the less valuable they will be. Be sure to save the shell they came from for provenance. If all of the surfaces have been polished, it's hard to say if anyone will pay much for them. You would need to get an auction house like Bonhams involved to get a better idea. Good Luck! :)

So, they aren't pearls, they're chunks of shell. Pearls do not have those lines, the shells do.

You will have to try harder than that!

Thanks for trying!

Hahaha! This really isn't the place to get by with passing something off, is it?
