Here's your opportunity to meet John Tu and his talented partner, Lily! John and Lily supply many of the P-G peeps with gorgeous, affordable pearls in their Gem Faire appearances up and down the West Coast. They will have a great variety of pearls, such as Chinese Kasumi, Edisons (moderately priced ones), keshi and so many more, plus lovely pendants and finished jewelry, too. John and Lily would love you to stop by and say hello!

This show doesn't charge admission, and is both retail and wholesale.

I don't think I've talked to John since last year's Tucson show as I have been unable to go to a Gem Faire. But no Pattye! Bummer.

I'll hope to plan better for next year. Seems like I spend too much in Dec, then I'm always surprised when the gem show info and invites start appearing in my mailbox and email. Now that I'm GIA alumni I get invited to the BIG party!

Long time ago (way before I found my personal source for pearls) I would go to the Gem shows in Orange County and bought pretty freshwater pearls from John. John was always so generous, kind and curious about my jewelry projects at school. He once gave me a blue baroque akoya strand as a birthday gift. It was a pleasant surprise when Jeremy and I bumped into him at Hong Kong jewelry show last September. That's when I found out he was quite famous in PG! His booth is filled with fun shaped pearls and I loved visiting his booth
