Hello!
I find this bracelet on an online seller for 50 GBP and wondering if it worth. I want to transform it in a graduate necklace for my small daughter or if it is nice enough to keep it like this (changing the clasp probably) to give it to my oldest.
The description from the seller is the following:
- Five strand graduated cultured pearl bracelet with diamante fastener,
- the bracelet is 7 1/4ins long, width 1 1/4 Inches, weight 21.4 grams and the largest pearl is 6mm,
- the pearls are a creamy white with a hint of pink,
- the clasp is marked SCP, no silver or gold.
I think the maker's mark of SCP England on the back was the mark used by 'Ciro' for their range of silver costume jewellery - perhaps no silver, just gilt finish. I am also not sure (regarding the mark on the clasp) if they are genuine cultured pearls or just good imitation, glass, faux pearls. I belive the pearls need a good bath and perhaps new restrung with modern silk for the knots are too big on most of them.
Hereby, i attach the photos that i received and wait for your expert opinion.
I will highly appreciate all the answer, advice and guidance!
May you have a beautifull day, fullfill with good health and sunny, happy moments!
