Is it okay to store my Mikimoto in this?

I apologize for continually asking about Mikimoto pearls. This will be my final question, I promise!

Recently, I purchased a clay pottery trinket case from a pottery store. I was wondering if it would be safe to store my Mikimoto Pearls in this trinket box. I also ordered a microfiber cloth based on your recommendations, although it hasn't arrived yet. My plan is to place the cloth in the clay trinket box for my pearls to sit on. What are your thoughts on this storage method? Once again, this is my last question!

Since you're going to line the box with a soft cloth, it should be just fine.
Arrange the necklace so the clasp doesn't scratch the pearls.
