I inherited these lovely pearls but have no idea what kind they are HELP

The white pearls are cultured freshwater pearls from China.
The black pearls appear to be imitation.

There is a simple test you can do with the black pearls: Rub one against the edge of your front tooth, gently, or rub 2 of them together. Imitation pearls glide smoothly while real pearls feel a bit gritty.

Is the dark necklace heavy? It's possible it might be a polished stone like hematite.
