Please take a new photo on a white paper towel. Black backgrounds make it very hard to judge pearl quality. :)

Can you tell us any of the history of these pieces?

Screw backs, silver, might be 1940s 1950s era.

Could you also perhaps take the photograph of the Mikimoto logo?

Are these a matching set? It is hard to tell from the photo, but matching pieces go for more than non matching. If they are not matching, you may want to sell them separately. Do you have the chain for the pendant? Back when screw earrings were popular, Mikimotos usually used silver. Having a box will also fetch more, as will any other info (tags, receipts).

sorry I don't have the history but it was both in 1989 in Hong Kong

And do you have a box or receipt?

I have the box but no receipt, it was bought way back in 1989

ok will do that

is it the letter M enclosed in a circle? tried it with my digital camera but can't seem to capture the detail

@whitepearl, for starters, maybe this will give you a rough idea of the value. I went to ebay, keyed in "Mikimoto silver" and clicked on "completed listings," so the prices in green are what the items actually sold for. (Sometimes pearls listed as "Mikimoto" really aren't though).

Do they have sentimental value to you?

thanks for the link, that's very helpful. :) no sentimental value for me..
