I was rather naughty and woke up at 4 a.m. this morning to buy stuff.

I really should not have bought anything, as I haven't paid off the plumber yet.
 
I have enough pearls to keep me happy for now, but want to be able to shorten some of my necklaces when wearing tops with higher necklines.

The oval pearl shorteners I already have weren't doing the trick-- the pearls slipped through. So I ordered a peanut shaped pearl shortener. My big Black Friday purchase. :p

This shortener will work for my Tahitians, but also for my WSS which graduate to 9.1mm. For that matter I should be able to use it to shorten my round tourmaline beads necklace, my amethyst beads, etc.

Getting more use out of what one already owns is a money-saving alternative to buying more stuff. ;)
 
I wasn't up as early as BWeaves, but I did nab my favorite of the new Kojima necklaces. I've been admiring Baby Nurse's Kojima station necklaces, and this Kasumi drop and pink/red tourmaline and spinel necklace had me at hello.

In addition, I had this 48 inch multi-color Tahitian rope from PP in my cart last night, but I needed to figure out how to use my Pearl Points to pay for it. While I was waiting to chat with PP, it sold. That's o.k. Jeremy himself came on to chat and answer my questions, interrupting his Thanksgiving dinner of King Crab and prime rib. I had the traditional turkey myself.

Somehow, my Tahitian collection is lacking stud earrings, although I do have several pair of dangles! These will make me sooooo happy~

OR this eye-catching pair from Pearl Paradise, 11-12 mm studs, if only my ear lobes will hold them!

BWeaves and Red, your new creations from Sarah are wonderful! Can't see PP website because my browser is too old (and I can't update it because I have forgotten my admin password… cough, sputter, sigh). I did go out to JoAnn and got 2 new Ott Lights on super sale, so will at least be able to see what I'm working on :)

eclecticgrl : Baby Nurse wore a keshi strand she got from Kojima with some round pearls a week or so ago, and I was blown away by how good it looked. So I've been eyeing this keshi strand ever since, and decided to try it out. The T-tin-cup looks really nice. I have another one from Kojima which I love, so I'm sure I'll love this one, too.

Pattye: Go for the mismatched pair. I swear, my mismatched T studs go with absolutely everything.

And I have been drooling over the Etsy shops of Ocean's Cove and Eric's carved pearls, too.

OMG OMG OMG I had this rope in my cart too but it was totally bought from underneath me!!!!!! I wonder who nabbed it?!?!??

LOL, so you are the one who saved me from myself! I had been eyeing that Tahitian drop and keshi necklace on Sarah's site, but it was gone when I got up at 6 am.

That blue South Sea Mikimoto look is stunning. I still want a large blue SS pendant.

I'm also eyeing this 6-14 mm graduated necklace from PP, but it's out of my price range for the time being.

This was on my wish list for about 5 minutes after the morning PP drop. Then it was gone (sold!). A 35 inch Tahitian rope with rare, gorgeous aqua overtones. It really stood out next to the more common green Tahitian ropes.
