Hiccups

Last thing yesterday Ifinally got time to make up some tahitian pendants (from my Hong Kong trip last month) and left them to dry overnight. When I went to check them just now this is the comedy pearl in the line up (there's always one isn't there?)




The dull explanation is that some air trapped at the bottom of the drill hole and compressed by the finding has pushed the finding out. Thank goodness we use gel superglue and have the magic release fluid!

I would have drilled the pearl further to have the pearl closer to the gemstone, but who am I?

LOL ! Wendy ! That is so funny ! I've just done a pendant and handed it off to the new owner .... I'm glad that didn't happen to me I would have freaked !

The release liquid makes it nothing but a small speed bump on the road to pearl fulfilment. It is a boon from the pearl goddesses.
