help, what are these

I purchased these pearls from Egypt, on line, and I have never seen anything with the luster these have, even in the dark, I took these pictures without a overhead light, they seem to pickup light where ever they can, The man that sold them to me said, they were not man made, I did not believe him, I am not very good at pictures, but would really appreciate any information, and do they have a value, thank you

You appear to have a graduated strand of Chinese cultured freshwater pearls. Normally pearl strands are knotted between each pearl but the graduated style looks better without knots.

Looks like a lustrous strand of cultured Chinese freshwater pearls! The eggy shapes give them away.

The nice thing about these fwp is that they are all nacre-- no bead inside to make them round, unlike akoya pearls. So they will be very durable.
