HELP??? are these pearls???

hi i have just come across this necklace when clearing my house, i have done the normal tests ie, teeth and friction test as well as looking jewellers loom, i thought it was costume, but as u can see from the photos one of the beads has broken to reveal what looks like pearl, can any1 tell me if these are pearl????

These appear to be mother of pearl beads. They could be washed, restrung, worn and enjoyed
