Hello, I'm new here and I'd like some help figuring out what kind of pearl is this, since I want to sell it and I have no idea and I'm completely ignorant when it comes to pearls. I would deeply appreciate if someone could help me out with this.

Thanks beforehand!

Welcome, Pimente,

What is the gemstone in your pendant, and what is the metal? Is the metal stamped? What is the story of the pearl? A gift? Where was it purchased? About how old is it? From the coloring of the pearl it is possibly a Tahitian, but additional info will help.

Thank you for your fast reply! The gemstone is a little diamond, I believe the metal might be white gold/silver, it is stamped with a number "325", it's a gift and I think it was purchased about... 3 years and a half ago.

Thank you for the additional information. If the metal is white gold, that would be more valuable than sterling silver. The actual size & quality of the diamond will make a difference in the value of the pendant also. I'm not able to tell from the photo if there are any blemishes on the pearl or not. I'm not certain what 325 means.

One way to see what you might get for the pendant is to look on ebay. I did a search for 14k tahitian pearl and diamond pendant. Currently there are a number of listings. Look above the top photo and click on sold listings, to see what might be similar to yours. Unfortunately, most jewelry on ebay sells for only a fraction of its original cost.
