heart shaped basra pearls

Hi I was given these heart shaped basra pearls which are atleast 60 to 70 years old by my grandmother these are heart shaped and lighter in weight for the size need your comments on the same. I find them intriguingly interestingly but would like to part with these for a ridiculous offer.

Those are some very interesting pearls. Perhaps they are lighter in weight because there are air pockets inside. The blue one has the most potential for making into jewelry. How about a few more photos from different angles?

Thanks for the encouragement. these are in fact 5 pieces in all I haven't put them into calipers yet but as i mentioned they should be about 15 to 20 mm across .... and will post more pics with professional camera soon. I also have a strands of pink basra pearls which are all twin buttons and a few golden buttons

All the above are basra pearls..... the grid below the pics is 6mm x 6mm .... pleas give your comments whether the hollow ones are anything special or just average ....

It's hard to put a value on them. They look like they could be natural pearls. The smoother pearls with better nacre quality would be more valuable. The blue one might make up into jewelry. You could try to sell them in small auction lots on eBay. Or go to www.thepearlcollector.com and see if they have any interest in buying them from you. Good Luck.

All of them are natural basra pearls none are cultured. i have certificates as these were meant for commerce. thanks for the link....

Having reports from a gemological laboratory makes a big difference! It's hard to give you advice from just photos. Good luck.
