Have fallen in love with pearls since inheriting some :)

I received these inherited pearls 20 some years ago with a bunch of junk. I never gave them much thought because the silk strand was broken. A couple of years ago I taught myself to restring them and wore them for a wedding. I didn't do bad, but as I wanted to wear them for my grandmothers funeral, I recently re-strung them, doing a much better job. At my grandmother's funeral, I lost the little pearl on the clasp :(, so it is currently at the jewelers being repaired. Mikimoto correct? What quality?

I am convinced they are not faux. They are heavy for 5 mm pearls, 103 of them. At first I thought they are perfect until I really looked close when re-stringing. I was able to group in colors, and shapes soooo close but do vary ever so slightly. They pass the tooth test, uv light test and have been x-rayed, are heavy and cool. Enough to string the strand twice at the neck. No box or documentation but grandpa was stationed in Japan for years. Also have a pair of earrings and brooch by Mikimoto that I am having made into earrings for myself and daughters. I wish I had better pics, I can come back with better pics when back from jeweler. When jeweler walked up he grabbed the pearls up in his hands and said "what are we doing with these, selling them?" He must have had quite the eye to spot them from the back room LOL. Can't believe I've lost 20 years of wearing them not knowing what I had :)
