I wonder if putting an ice cube against the gum will help? This would chill the gum so it could be chipped off (with a fingernail-- don't use anything harder!)
LOL This has to be a first ! I'm just trying to think..I know there are spot removers for gum etc .. but I'm not sure how the pearls would react. The freezing method is supposed to work as Pearl Dreams has suggested but it its on the knots ... hmmm... this is a poser...
yeah .. it's the string isn't it...I was thinking that that oily spot remover might be ok..then a gentle wash straight away to get it off the pearls.. ??
I have used a product called Goof Off, and it works miracles! even removed gum from carpet easily! Im sure it would remove the gum in one swipe. Im not sure if it would be harmful to the pearl, as i remember it was not chemical smelling, more of an oily liquid, if used quickly and rinsed it should be fine. Hope this helps!
