Hi, first time poster here. My parents are moving out and selling the old house, so they made me go through all the dusty boxes with trinkets I've collected as a kid. I upcycle cheap jewellery as a hobby, so I was curious if these were real pearls bc of the irregular shape. I tried the tooth method and safe to say it felt like touching my teeth with 1000 grit sandpaper so I suppose they are real. My partner and I are not in a good financial situation unfortunately, so I was wondering if there's any value to them if I were to try and sell them?
Any help is appreciated!!

(They are all approx 6mm and the colour is a bit pinker than on the photos)

Hi and welcome to Pearl Guide!

They are real, cultured freshwater pearls from China. Unfortunately baroque freshwater pearls are the most common pearls out there, and those are low quality. The clasp appears to be base metal and the clear beads and split ring are also low end.

But you say you upcycle cheap jewelry as a hobby, so these fit the bill. Good luck!
