Fair Trade SS Pearl white/gold

Does any one know of farmers, producers, etc., that practice fair trade and utilize well regarded industry production practices in the pearl industry for whites/golds?

Check out our members Rusty and Bronwyn, Torres Pearls http://www.torrespearls.com/ Some lovely pearls on their website, clearly raised with TLC!

At this time, I believe Sea of Cortez Pearls has the only official designation as "Fair Trade." And Kamoka Pearls' farm practices would certainly qualify them for this designation, IMHO.

It's starts as a PG thread for a necklace called 'Stella Maris' which was put together by Douglas from the Sea of Cortez pearl farm that Pattye mentions as having 'Fair Trade' status

But it goes on over a couple of years, and has some great content (and stunning photos) and even a video
