cufflink findings

Hi,

I want to use some of the low quality pearls from our latest harvest to make up some cufflinks.

However i cannot find anywhere online to buy cufflink findings with a post to which to glue the pearl.

I have tried Bella and Firemountain Gems among others with no joy.

Would any of you kind souls have some suggestions?

Hi Dan,this type of setting is not standard issue, I know of at least five sights that have the aero fittings, pin, joint etc but not the style your after.
I would suggest trying a manufacturing jeweller who could fabricate it.

Bernadette, I think you may be right, it may have to be a special order which kind of defeats the purpose of getting value out of low end pearls.

But I will keep looking.

Just another thought, what about tie tacs?
They are available in a cup and post.
