Can someone please tell me what I have

I have a beautiful necklace with a 9ct gold clasp and a gorgeous gold locket pendant with a matching love heart shaped pearl in the middle

Can the locket be removed? It seems like it might have been added? Have you tried gently rubbing 2 pearls together to see if they are gritty or smooth? They look "real" freshwater...because of the slight potato shape but, also look at the drill holes to see if there is build-up of paint or missing coating? I also would check the locket "pearl" maybe they can grow that shape... check it's grittiness. Gold is always valuable and it is very pretty, even faux.

Welcome, hendohbb! Yes, you have a cultured freshwater necklace, with very good luster. Yes, I've seen where mabe pearls are cultured in heart shape. But I can't tell from the photo if this is a cultured mabe or imitation. Are there karat gold markings inside or anywhere on the locket? On the bail? Can you see the back of the heart from inside the locket? If the locket is karat gold it should be marked somewhere.
