Can someone help tell me which kind of pearls i have

Hello I recently purchased pearl diamond earrings from an estate sale. I was told the pearls are south sea pearls. However after doing some research I think these are not, they are natural pearls, they are definitely gritty when rubbed and do have some natural variations. Any information is greatly appreciated.

Nice earrings.

While these present with some natural features, I'm a reluctant to suggest they are. I streaks of calcite typical in many over-mature naturals, but all superficial. What I don't see are flame patterns or deep translucency.

Xray or candling might reveal some tell-tale inclusions.

Nonetheless, they are unique and quite fashionable.
