Can anyone identify these pearls?

I know they are old. They have red blotches on them and they are glossy. Any idea on value? Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Those are not pearls. They are beads of some other kind. It's possible the red marks are stains, perhaps from makeup/lipstick.

I agree with PD, these beads aren't pearls. Possibly they are glass, or a type of coral (unlikely). They could use a bath, for sure! Use a mild soap like you would for babies and rinse well. If they have sentimental value, restringing will give them a fresh look. Are there any markings on the clasp, from the photos appears to be base metal? Vintage beads like these can be used creatively in new pieces, although no big $$ value.

They are white beads, but not pearls. Not coral.
