I wanted to share my new "beauties"

These are not perfect pearls however looking at them remind me of nature's small miracles.

Perfect pearls can be somehow bland. Baroque are so interesting.

Catlin, I have tried to PM you without any success. I would appreciate your advise.

They are so beautiful. They have so much character. Are they Akoyas or Freshwater? My guess is that they are Akoyas. What size are they?

Cheers,
ShashiRatna

shashiRanta hi,
The 1st necklace is FW barorque, the 2nd is Australian South Sea baroque 11.5-13mm, color: champane, white, I bought 3 strands of those. the one before last are cheap FW half pearls, I loved their natural colors and the last one is "fantezi" FW.
I bought them in Beijing last month.
Thank you for your kind commnents

Pattye good morning,
I would like to specialise my merchandise towards this shape. I know that in a few years we are not going to find baroque ones very easily. When I buy I pay attention to matching though.
kind regards

pattye hi,

sorry for not replying more quickly it is almost 8:00 am and trying to get ready to go to work. even though there is a strong demand for baroques especially 15mm and up the production diminishes. because of improvements in pearl-producing techniques. They producers harvest more rounds.
Kind regards
Akoya
