Another Extreme Happiness Report-----

My strand arrived today! It is #105, no longer up on the website, oops, temporarily lost camera--large, lavender, great lustre, very baroque, which I like. also measured it and it is full 19" which I prefer! You may recall, Boo and I picked the same strand, because she was first, I had Kirsten choose another for me. Of Course I am wearing it now!:D

Thanks very much, Kirsten, for picking out such a gorgeous strand for me, and thanks again Jeremy, for such gorgeous pearls at such great prices! Every strand is beautiful and unique!!

Lovely necklace, beautiful orient and gorgeous overtone. Is the body color pink or lavender?

Thanks,
pernula

OMG! How lovely! Hope to see them being worn too... please :)

Can you imagine the RIOT if the pictures on the website were this nice !?

I know I might have bought more if I had seen that lovely coppery color. Even though they were listed as pink, many of the pictures came across very orangey to me. So while I knew they must be lovely, it did help my restraint. :)

Aycee,

the strand does look very nice and Your wife is sure to love it!
Let us know.... Great photos!

Aycee,
What lovely pics. How did you take them? Direct or indirect lighting? I want to photogragh my free form to share with everyone. Mine was a multi-color ranging upt 13.5mm in size. The colors are great! Now I understand what "water" is in pearl lingo. Thanks to Kirsten at PP, she picked a beauty for me (again).

I got my first lavender strand! It's totally amazing and my mom loves the luster, irregular shapes and the variation of the colors! Very well-matched. I'd thought she'd go for the rounds as she usually does. Surprised even me. It's not quite as dark as I'd expected but strangely enough I have seen it on two computer screens and the difference is amazing. Better than ever in real life. I can't imagine the luster ever fading out on the freshwater babies. Pics coming up soon. Two more coming on Monday!

The freeforms really remind me of the Kasumigaura. I was eyeing this pink bracelet Care Ehret had but just couldn't fork out over a grand for it. It was truly gorgeous though. If only the freshwaters came in true pink rather than peachy pink.

Oh my gosh!! I got my package today and Wow! How beautiful! Let me start with the white FW strands that were on extra super sale. They may have been a Mother's Day item, but I picked up mine because graduation is just around the corner (and hey, they are graduated strands). However they are so very pretty that I am going to stash one away for my niece's Sweet 16. They are perfect for young ladies.

Now for the baroques. Sigh... words fail me. I opened them in the perfect order - the multi first, followed by the "other" lavender (115) and then 101. They just kept getting better! The rainbow colors on some of the pearls are astonishing. I'm really sorry - I am just terrible at photographing pearls. These are so much prettier in person. I cropped most of the photos because I am one of those people who always manage to close their eyes at the same time as the shutter opens, especially when I am taking the photo myself. But, folks - check it out: the lavenders look great together! :D
They aren't a perfect match - the 101 side is slightly warmer and the 115 side is slightly cooler - but overall, I think they work together really well. The flash photo shows the colors in all their glory, but the "indoor" photo (under a full spectrum craft light) gives a better feel for how similar the strands look in person. I guess my taste is pretty consistent! In fact, I have decided that I am going to have to keep 115. I still have 2 days to get my mom an alternate gift!:p

Jeremy, thank you *so much* for making these available for us. What a treat to have something so special, unique and beautiful.

Great work with the photos, Boo, Love those strands, especially 115!:D Love your idea of making the longer strand. Love your enthusiasm! Looks great on you, too! I can't believe I only bought one strand this time. I do appreciate the creamy color of the unbleached whites, so maybe when they are available I will indulge in 2.

Raisondetre-I think if you keep looking you will find some true pinks. I agree many are more peach pink, but there are also some pinks just starting toward lavender, I think it is just how they get sorted. I have quite a stash of crafting pearls, and it is amazing just how many shades there are in the natural pink range.

It is after 11pm here and I am not sure I am making any sense--Good Night All My Pearly Wonders----

These are the photos I was waiting for. They do look o great on you Boo, so how can I resent you buying 101 any longer. The idea of buying two and joining them together was inspired. I realised after my pearls were shipped that I should have asked whether two could have been removed and turned into earrings. Ah well hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Thanks for modeling them, I much prefer to see the pearls in their intended setting - brings them to life for me.

Susan

Thanks for your feedback, everybody. I was truly giddy when I wrote that yesterday - I am amazed I made any sort of sense at all.

Okay, I am stating for the record that Raisondetre is a genius. I was a bit bummed about not having any extra freeforms for a pair of earrings when I read her post and had a "d'oh!" moment about a pair of Kasumigaura pearls I picked up a couple of weeks ago in a moment of fiscal weakness. They were slightly mismatched in color - one was more pink, the other more purple. Again, check out the photo:

Ahhh - the sun is shining, the birds are singing, the flowers are blooming, and I am bedecked in pearls - life is so good :D

I was just going to ask if we had made those earrings for you! They look like such a great match to the strand!

I got mine too and have been wearing them ever since. I love them! I really am considering a white strand now.

Boo, Nice pic.Your pearls totally suit you :) and the double strand is a great idea.

Raisondetre, The strand I got, which was called lavender but looked more like an in between pink/lavender color is very much a cotton candy pink in person.

Love the photos everyone! Thanks for posting them! :) They look beautiful.

Nice match! Glad I could help. I knew I was good for something ...

Boo, how do the Kasumigauras and the freeform freshwater baroques compare in terms of luster and surface? The color is a good match, but I was wondering if I should eventually get some Kasumis as well.
