Aunt’s Pearls

Hi, I’m new here, I’ve had this in my closet for years and really wanted to find out if they are worth anything. Although, I only met my aunt a few times, I do know she traveled a lot and liked sterling silver jewelry. I believe under the M it’s either a SI or SL. It looks to be 20” long with 97 pearls. Thanks for any info!

You appear to have a beautiful strand of antique Mikimoto pearls. I can't tell much about the quality of the pearls from the photo, but they look very nice for their age. It's a graduated strand in the classic 3.5 momme style - a very rare find and quite valuable.

Thank you so much for the info! I know very little about pearls, but they do seem to be in very good condition.
